I was commissioned to design a new stained-glass window for Church of the Holy Spirit, in Montgomery, Alabama. I had designed all the other windows in the sanctuary twenty years prior to this when the church was constructed. I have a painting similar to this design that our pastor had used for his prayer card when becoming a priest. I had to modify the design to fit the space from vertical to horizontal orientation. This very large window was donated by a parishioner and unknown to us, while the window was being constructed, The Year of the Eucharist was announced, and the window was installed during the first week.
