A friend of mine is against the use of glitter in 'high art.' I have used it, subtly, in my 3D projects to suggest faux silica in their bases. When the light hits just right, a slight bit sparkles and attracts the eye. In these days of chronic rectangle watching, attracting the eye is no mean feat. I really like this, Nancy. It is pure and, yes, all we truly need is love. But, like the song says, "The love you take is equal to the love you make." Seems an echo from another world, doesn't it? :)

Artist Reply: Thank you for your comment. Yes I have heard that about high end artwork not having glitter. I figure this is the exception. I am not selling it. It already has a home. It is a postcard. I was thinking of making more handmade postcards. I will consider not adding the glitter next time.
