Morgan in Springtime

I painted this portrait of Morgan following his death of feline leukaemia in November 1994. It is still one of my favourites and a lasting tribute to a very comical cat.

I am slowly but surely getting around to all the amzing artists I have found here. I love your cats..and I can't pick one but I had to so I could comment. First off the balance and composition is great..love the detail and the fact that it isn't too "fussy". Also, I respect any who can use gouache. I recall having to use it in college and I rather sucked :)..Also, congrats on being in the book that artwanted has out.

A very beautiful piece of a very beautiful cat. Morgan looks very peaceful in these natural surroundings. I'm sorry for your loss, but this is a lovely tribute.
