It's amazing to see crabs that long out of water but they have quite a complex breathing Gill that allows them to stay out of water for a day,as long as they get get into some small pools of water to get oxygen,,these guys look like they like the sun & enjoying the outdoors,many hermit crabs are that way,,,that kind people buy in pet stores ,& the crab is out of water for sometime ,very nice photo..
