Virtual Education

In a lot of schools and colleges/universities throughout the USA and in other countries, in-person teaching and learning has evolved into virtual education primarily for health and safety reasons due to the coronavirus pandemic. For the time being, teachers and their students will teach and learn via screen time by way of computers, tablets, smartphones. I used the Paint program on my computer to create this artwork that shows a silhouetted student sitting -with arms folded- at home observing a Math lesson on a computer being taught virtually by his/her teacher. I highly commend teachers, students, parents, education administrators- for all trying their best to make sure that education will go on virtually until it is safe again health-wise to open up our classrooms to teach and learn in-person again.
