Painting: Watercolor, Ink on Paper. The three-dimensional trees have been reduced to lines and planes using a limited palette of gray and black, simplifying the subject down to the most basic elements, achieving rhythm through the simple lines, the flatness of forms and the pure primary colors of the birds perched on the branches. I use Arches paper 300 gsm,100% cotton – Made on a cylinder mould – Sized to the core with natural gelatin.
