Artist Reply: That immature owl could not fly away as yet. However, its parents put it there. The surrounding colors gave some form of camouflage .

Artist Reply: That immature owl could not fly away as yet. The location was inside the Jamaica Wildlife Reserve, Queens, NYC. Many people were excited to see it every day for about ten days.
