Manual Lymphatics Drainage (MLD) is a form of soft-tissue mobilization. Our body’s immune system is highly dependent on the lymphatic system function. The lymphatic system is located close to the surface of the skin and is composed of a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, and vessels (ducts and nodes) that transport the fluid.
