Amsterdam Holland canal. The life of city is calmed by the water of the canal. The boats tied up, draw you down the water, to relax as you travel. Th winter day is dreary but the blue sky is hopeful. Shops with their apartments above line the way. A small dock at the waters edge waits for boats and people. The early winter morning not yet given way to the hustle and bustle of the city.
