You don't have to be an ornithology expert to love birds or know what particular bird you are looking at to want take a picture to save for a scrapbook -- there are so many that look alike and are related like in the Egret and Heron Family. This image is called a Reddish Egret but it is truly pretty grey or and brown with only a little reddish cast to his feathers at certain stages of his life. The Green Heron is not truly green but has a greenish cast (the male especially) only when seen in bright sunlight which is rare since it is a nocturnal creature mostly.
