One of my goals as a photographer of birds is to photograph birds in a natural setting doing what comes natural to them as much as possible -- that is why I use long lens and work at a distance making as little disturbance as possible of the scene and their lives. This means that compositions rely on whatever you happen upon and sometimes backgrounds are not the greatest and images are slightly fuzzy. The payoff is whatever you capture is completely natural and happy very often.
