AS I STUDY THIS WORK CLOSELY I SEE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ABSTRACT--I SEE MANY FIGURES,,PERHAPS A kkk HOOD..TWO MEN IN CHAINS..SOMEONE BEING SLUGGED, A CHILD, ONE BLOND WOMAN, ANOTHER WOMAN POURING OUT A CAN WITH GASOLINE, AND A GRINNING MAN WITH A LARGE KNIFE...UNDERNEATH THE CRISS CROSS OUTER LAYER OF THE PAINTING...IS THIS CORRECT?

Artist Reply: Is a very interesting interpretation... to me this work might be a poem devoted to the fruitful olive, whose ghosts still rise up and afflict me from remote ports of the world...
