March of Robots 5th 2020

#MarchOfTheRobots2020...For the first time in over a Decade, Jaques and Bachi happened to find dry land in the form of a small #Island. It was the very first time ever finding peaceful inhabitants; in the form of these farming robots...................................................................................................................................................................................................................This is a short story ive had in my head for decades, ever since i played through "Dive Alert" on neo geo pocket. it was a great game set in a water world type setting, graphics were pretty much triangles and circles as everything was radar based underwater sub battle, but the idea stuck with me; and i loved the way the game encouraged u to use a bit of imagination to fill int the details. the only real in game pixel art was that of character pictures during pre or post battle talk. the premise was much like water world, a future in which there is little to no land and life is hard, yet sub is life. the main characters are children that awake with no recollection of past; and i wanted to elaborate on that and fill in the details. the games ending has a nice plot twist which id love to go beyond. so here we have our pair, Bachi and Jaques, not sure how or where theyve come from, they only have each other and a trusty fighter class sub; and the eternal search in the eternal blue. if the future looks bleak now, imagine it totally submerged in blue oceans as far as the eye can see. Jacques is the rougher and slightly older pessimist while Bachi is the lovable optimist. they grew up like brother and sister but they have no idea where they came from, just placed in a sub from a young age. Life is full of the struggle to survive the oceans many predators which only got larger without land. This was the beginning of hope for them. i tried a different lighter art style and went more into separating the art styles of the day to day pictures for March of Robots so the different stories would be more coherently recognized and understandable as im still flowing and reaching from that main word, and Island was too perfect for this one.
