With this piece, my priority was to create a dynamic character and really push what I can do. I commonly stick to portraits and simple poses, but this piece completely shows a different part of my skill set. The most difficult part of this piece was the hair. I wanted to keep a cohesive silhouette and have as little tangents as possible. I had to draw the hair in a way that both kept that silhouette and was physically possible with gravity and motion.
