Mayan

As I trek through the tropical jungle in my head I'm astounded at the temple in front of me. The magic of the Mayans capture my attention as it emits glorious energy fields that welcome my inner spirit. Marker on paper, mounted, unmatted, and sealed. Measures 14x11

Good design, unlike Charles I like abstract without signature and date on front because then you can hang it in which ever direction you choose. Always good designs Sara!

Artist Reply: And Mark, thank you as well, but I'm sorry to disappoint you, like I mentioned to Charles, my tiny marks of scratch on in the bottom right, sometimes I get confused on what art platforms are acceptable and unaccepted, meaning, some don't like anything Other than the art and some don't mind so it's hard to know how to please everyone. I suppose if you hung this one upside down, you would have all of the Godly favors pouring into your lap imbuing you with it's energy :D

Another lovely example of tonal and compositional balance, Sara. I see neither a signature nor a date on this one. I, personally, think it's a good idea to have both. The signature, to my mind, finishes the piece---though I have scaled mine down as much as possible. The date gives oneself and others an idea of progression over time. These are just my thoughts, of course. The piece is very good. :) PS--if on paper, they could be dated in pencil on back.

Artist Reply: Thank you Charles, this is actually an older piece I believe around 2015, if you look at the other image you can see my chicken scratch in the far bottom right, I try to crop it out of some images because it is kinda messy and I 'hope' the copyright is enough as far as security goes, right clickers etc...I started to add my initials just last year ironically, when I noticed some artists incorporating their name into their art, mainly street artists to be exact, I try to add it as an artistic touch but as well as an ego-ownership thing I guess...hmm..you got me! :D
