I chose abstract art for its visceral emotional appeal. The viewer must connect with the piece with more than just their eyes. Giving them a richer, more in-depth experience. I use a variety of acrylic paint types and textures. Sometimes adding beads, fibers, and other materials to increase the feel and luminosity of the paint. Much of my work has different metallic foils incorporated, such as gold and silver leaf.
