Bakwit

"Bakwit" Acrylic on Patched Canvas 48" x 24" 2 0 1 9 An ARJANA(Arnel Jatulan Natividad) painting that pictures the situation of a Family evacuating from the darkness of War. This painting shows how battled this small Family is as they struggle to find a new place to stay but with each other they can all consider their connection as Home specially in times like this. This is the Artist's take on the on going conflict in Mindanao, Philippines which often than not, innocent Families turned to be the victim between crossfires from militant revels and the country's national forces. This painting never fades its purpose as the World is now again on the edge of WWIII. A picture of a Family thinking of their next move in search of real peace and a final place they can finally consider true Home. The painting was last seen during the C.A.N.V.A.S. Philippines' 10th Year Looking for Juan Banner Outdoor Project. One of the country's largest group show featuring the hottest contemporary artists. An exhibit that features an indoor exhibition of the actual works and outdoor exhibit of banner prints for the UP Sunken Garden visitors to enjoy.
