Dependent Arising

'There are no separate self entities; all phenomena are products of dependent arising' (Heart Sutra). I don't really get the sense of those words. But inspired by them I made this series 'Dependent Arising'. Tree forms & three colours. They are dependent on each other to form this whole picture. Neopastel on cardboard, 50x70 cm.
