Building Connections Through Time

Close up section of "Winged Victory" being sculpted from their original 1920's placement on top of spires making the entrance to the Ben Franklin Bridge. This mural Building Connections Through Time is located in the 5th Street walking tunnnel under the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia. Over 2,000 square feet of whimsical landscapes and figures cover the underpass, illustrating the Delaware River Port Authority history of the Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, Commodore Barry, and Walt Whitman bridges.
