Lily Pond Colorado

This is a painting of Lily Pond nestled high in the Rocky Mountains. In this scene the sun is setting behind a beautiful lMountain range. The clouds are lit up with the colors of the approaching night. Although the title of this painting is Lily Pond when I painted this there were no lilies that I could see. But it is still a remarkable place and if you ever get a chance it is well worth the trip to the top of the Rockies.
