I was watching this film last night, and I have been wanting to create image from this film for a such a long time,when I saw this scene I knew I had to draw this with strong contrast against the white wall, this moment just before John Wayne’s Character is about to shoot Liberty Valance.

Hello Jill, Thank you so much, sometime less is more and I think this image need just that. I was watching this film few nights ago when I noticed this scene, great contrast with white wall and shadows falling so I took a picture on my IPAD to use it as a reference to create this artwork.
