CN Tower Toronto Canada No 3

The idea to build a very very large TV and radio communication structure originated in 1968. After 5 years of planning, construction on the CN Tower began in 1973 and at a cost of $63,000,000 CDN, the 553.33 m (1,815.4 ft) tower was completed in 1976 and became the world's tallest free standing structure, a record it held for 34 years. Original photography from 2015 using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC Macro OS lens. Reprocessed using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion. Cool shot.

Artist Reply: Thanks Kevin. The tower has been around for so long and I've seen it so many times (you can't miss it from almost anywhere in the city) that it almost becomes back ground noise. Every once in awhile though you take a look at it and say to yourself ' Holy S&!T that is on incredible piece of work!!!' :)
