Diva and Zeus Turning into Max and Moritz

Of course I should have known better. But that's just the way it is, isn't it? First we are convinced about how things are - until we have to admit, that things are not the way we proclaimed them to be. What a mouthful, correct? Well, nothing else would suffice. May I introduce to You 'Diva' and 'Zeus' - our youngest Family members since February. They arrived at our farm on the birthday of my precious daughter - as 'Diva' and 'Zeus'. You could say it was 'wishful thinking' when I was hyper quickly willing to envision Sheeba having made her way back into the family, based on the character and personality of 'Diva'. Diva is the one that is looking into Your eyes. The only problem that has offered itself to complicate matters lies within the fact, that a lovely friend of mine - a full blooded equestrian- and farm woman I adore for her organic Life and farming methods - picked up 'Diva' and proclaimed her to be a 'He'. Wow! Now, what? Not that we would have issues with that. You know, the gender thing. But it turns out to be super-superficial when You look at this gorgeous Kitty that has Sheeba's 'rascality' in superscript and then being asked to reverse the initial misconception about him being a girl. It gets even more interesting, when I tell You that I had planned on naming them after two famous German cartoon characters - 'Max and Moritz', but wasn't able to, as I was told that Moritz is a girl. Difficult to determine in Feline babies, but I took that as a fact. So much for facts who turn out to be the opposite of what one was convinced of initially. Nine and a half weeks after Diva and Zeus (who did pick his name from a bunch of names written on small pieces of folded paper like in a lottery) arrived at our Universal Farm, I decided to go with the original inspiration for 'Max and Moritz'. A decision that was not easy as well - because as much as I love Max and Moritz, it needs to be noted that they don't end up well. It is that last part of the adventures of Max and Moritz that is still keeping me in doubt about their names. Maybe We should start all over again and refine the selection process for them to pick the name they truly care for? As a name's phonetic version is what really matters. The sounding out of the name. It also occurred to me that I could just read a list of all male names and film the Kitties while doing it. Then I will be able to see which name resonates the most with them? Be it as it may, for now these two incredible treasures will answer to 'Max' and 'Moritz'. Needless to say that there are already more images of the two rascals than I could ever get published. You can bet any amount that they will surface on Artwanted more often.
