Meet Gul Bibi Shamra. She is an Afghan refugee living in a slum near Islamabad, Pakistan. Inspired by a picture of her taken by Pulitzer winning photographer Muhammed Muheisen in 2014. She was 3 yr old when the pic was taken. I still can't help but look at her eyes in astonishment, like they are talking to me. I just tried to recreate them the best I can.
