AMAZON-Buy-Now-Button (33K) About this painting: "Humboldt Foxgloves" The temperate forest is a redwood old growth tangle: ferns and mushrooms root on fallen trees, and bright pink foxgloves bloom in the meadow clearing. The sequoia forests are amazing: prolific coastal redwoods that can reproduce by sprouting from the root crown, stump, or even a fallen branch. These views encouraged watercolor artist Kim Reid to move her studio to Humboldt. Her paintings are often a combination of scenes she puts together from inspiration and sketching from many hikes. More paintings to come from these beautiful forests in the Pacific Northwest! KimARTandDesign.com
