“Pink Tourmaline” is the birthstone for October, and is part of my Broken Doll Birthstone series. This magical violinist continues to play her violin even with her cracked fingers and body. Her music emanates from her being. Is she all doll? or all human? That is for you to decide. Bright Pink stones and colors stand out against the striking grayscale of the doll. *Special thanks to my very talented friend Deanna who plays for The Craic & Clockwork Knotwork band for being the model and inspiration of this piece.
