This is an original painting of the Lisi Lake Park in October. Lisi Lake is the favorite recreational place of Tbilisi residents just outside of Tbilisi. I painted it during the plein air in October of 2015 while my friends and my wife were barbecuing and playing around. The day was sunny and warm, the air was crisp and filled with grilled meat and pine needles aroma. The water in the lake was blue and still but a bit too cool for a swim already. I remember the splashes and barking of dogs that were the only swimmers that early autumn afternoon. I hope that the viewer can feel the relaxed atmosphere of the day and can grasp the first signs of nature's wilting.
