rose one: rose for thea

i did three oil paintings inspired by the great rose photography of Thea Walsta.. this was my first attempt.. began drawing it in pastel in front of the computer screen fixed it and painted it in oil it is 16 x 20 inches on canvas pad canvas.. i like to consider my self an expressionist.. i deleted these roses from my portfolio earlier so i could better photographs . my first submissions were taken by poloroid
