Original Medium Used- Polychromo Colored Pencils. Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Black India Ink On Mixed Media Paper. Turtles are one of the oldest, living, known creatures on earth the planet. In Hawaii, the Sea Turtle, which is also known as Honu, is believed to bring good luck, endurance and a long lived life. People, that have been brought up and lived in Hawaii, their entire lives, the spiritually connected, also refer to the Sea Turtle as Aumakua. As Legend would have it, it states that a sea turtle helped guide the first settlers to the islands, of Hawaii.
