"John the Baptist/Judas In Godspell," c.1975, one of my professional acting- on-stage gigs! I am the guy on the floor trying to stop the other cast members/disciples from hurting me as Judas, the betrayer of Jesus! I actually started the Godspell (staged musical)as John the Baptist, entering the first scene blowing a real Ram's Horn Shofar...and that was really so cool! All of our performances at the CTS Repertory Theatre, Indianapolis, IN, were sold out!! I love being an actor as well as an artist, etc. I started my acting career in 2nd grade as the character Hansel, the play, "Hansel and Gretel: A Grimm's fairy Tale. More to come!!

I adooore......... photo in B/W, costumes and make up!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks so very much Stefani, for your feedback on this particular black & white capture of our Godspell costumes and make-up! It was a blast, no pun intended, blowing the shofar(rams horn) at the very beginning of every performance, ass John the Baptist!

FANTASTIC MARK. WHY DO MOST OF ARTISTS WANT TO BE ACTORS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS TOO. I KNOW THE FEELING. JOANIE

Artist Reply: It is because the Fine Arts are all connected and I have been fortunate to achieve many of my acting, singing, artistic creations, playing an instrument and even dabbled in photography... and as Salvador Dali stated," Painting is an infinitely minute part of my personality!"

FASCINATING PHOTO, MARK.

Artist Reply: thank you so much for your compliment Sharon,...in my life experiences, this was a fascinating time for me...getting great reviews in the newspaper on shows I was in, working on my Master of Divinity Degree, working in productions, or on them, while serving in a number of ecumenical ministries on the weekend some weekdays!
