two years ago I decided to make a life size sculpture of the one very evil charactere from my book. This is Joe. His victims number is unknown, he got half of the Sapienta races extinct and is known for killing his own offspring. He is very fast and very strong, getting in his way is surely a death call. you can find a life-size comparison with him and me beside each other on this gallery too. Joe is the one of the first tries to work in polymer, and also part of the reason that got me into polymer works. This face is bigger than your face, bigger than an average human face. Upper picture was taken from ground level with the eyes lighted (eyes are lighted) under one was taken by standing on a chair (!!!) to get to eye level. Eyes are taxidermy custom ordered, face is colored with acryl and sculpted without reference (except my own idea of the charactere). Joe is one of my best works, a symbol of what I can do if i only want to. even if this sculpture has quite a few flaws the fact that I designed him myself with the full internal structure and made the full sculpture within 40 hours, 3.5 hours alone for the face, and getting a biped sculpture with the height of a MiniVan to stand alone. Also it got me closer to the charactere I had created. Writing a book is not moving letters but living another world.
