Horse

Through history, through ages,
the horse became our friend.
Although we see the different breeds,
they are on every continent.
No animal around this globe
does everywhere attend.
We’ve seen them in the battles
Like for example, Roman land.
From North to South, from East to West
a horse, it just appears.
I bet to you, where ever you are :
“a horse will there be near”.
I thought about the world war time,
the battles fought in France.
The Chinese world, the knighthood
and of the Indian’s dance.
Just think about “the cavalries”,
a messenger, a race.
The horse that will just jump for you,
Or walks in horse’s grace.

Awesome illustration and thank you for remembering the important role played by horses in our history, Ben !!! The animals are useful and sooo beautiful, more over their sensitiveness makes of them a true friend of human beings!!!

Artist Reply: I thin all species of animals are important to this world. It is a shame that horses are given drugs to perform, food is in construction of pharmacy and wild animals are shot just for fun.
