Sanctuary

My current focus is a fusion of watercolor painting with my pure inking style. I used conte crayon for the skin and my technical pens for the detail. Three months of work.

this kind of attention to natural images where nature was a goddess and the fairies dwelt under the leaves was a constant theme in victorian art at the turn of the century. especially in watercolor.
