This is my sketch on canvas paper of Castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, which I entitled, "Our Dream Home," c.2006, because it is such an awesome structure that has endured for years,...even throughout the two world wars. This home was built by King Ludwig II form his own fortune and often described as "crazy"...wouldn't it cool to be living in the castle that Disneyland based their castle on back in the day?

Artist Reply: Thanks so much for your generous feedback Will. This has been my family joke for years, but wouldn't it be cool to at least spend two weeks in this monstrosity of beauty...and you know I love to do the detailed pieces. They just don't make castles like this anymore, with exception of Disneyland and we all love Disney in our families.
