Mother and young Elephants

On a 90 weight cold-press watercolor sheet I laid-out, drew, scribed, erasing light pencil, and injecting proper blends of minerals, Carbon Coal, Limonite, Burnt Umber, Ochre, and Gypsum Crystals. The Mother I had followed with the National Geographic photographer who was assigned to shoot this Mother with young migrating from the west coast of Africa, across the desert to the water shed of Tanzania. After four years a lost young and dust storms this shot I recreated was finally taken. I after following this hard four year journey was glad I was able to do it in mother natures Earth minerals.
