Dr Samuel Epstein, an alternative Nobel Prize winner, puts the blame for the carcinogenic epidemic, squarely where it should be. “The predominant cause of the current cancer epidemic is the exponential growth of the chemical and petrochemical industries since the 1940s” In a wide-ranging presentation at the House of Commons, arranged by the Green Network, in 2000. Dr Epstein Chairman (then) of the American Cancer Prevention Coalition, said: “Our total environment, air, water, consumer products, food, cosmetics, toiletries and household goods are pervasively contaminated by a whole range of persistent industrial carcinogens. As a consequence, the public-at large has been and continues to be unknowingly exposed to avoidable carcinogens.” The 40 MPs who agreed with him, did NOTHING. All they do is hand over our taxes to provide life jackets that are not even designed to keep you afloat. PS…SLS is one of the largest. Dr Epstein said there are safe alternatives. That's the irony......."there are safe alternatives." Does this suggest that there are still people in Congress and in the House of Parliament that wish to keep this huge industry of cancer, rather than preventing it, because it's has gotten too large? America is in the same boat with GMOs. According to the Huffington Post, last week, the Congressional Panel said that "Americans are too stupid for GMO labeling." Brilliant work, Ron. Keep it up!
