End of the Trail

On a 11 X 16 inch cold-press paper I reproduced a article B&W photo of a 8 inch snow fall in Visalia California, an occurrence which happens about every ten years. The Statue was bought from San Francisco expos which had it mad for the 1913 one. They couldn't afford to bronze the two that were made by the famous artist that had done the design for the Buffalo Nickle so he just painted the plaster of Paris. The figure started to deteriorate and was to be gotten rid of, and along came the cowboy Historical center in Oklahoma a bought and made a bronze duplicate for Visalia. It is done totally in Carbon Coal and Gypsum Crystals, then I flash a copy with a blue glaze to represent Ice.
