Symphony of Flames

Fire has always astounded man.. In small quantities, it is a friend.. If in huge amounts, it's a foe. Yet it dances so beautifully and very mesmerizing.. It's no surprise to imagine a superhero, to give him powers of fire. I thought practice drawing on humans again and draw a man with the capabilities of controlling fire. Usually I see a ball of fire emanating from the man's hand but I like to show where the fire comes from.. not hovering in the air but fire from within that person. It also looks like the fire is dancing on his hand. And I always like to show a connection of that person's capabilities with his features. Thus the fiery coloured eyes and the red hair with yellow highlights. I think my human drawings could use a lot more practice but I'm pleased with the hair and eyes :) Still got a long way to go but it's the little victories that makes the journey to winning the war

A Killer Glow and the Single Flame,Contrast,Elise.Bringing Light In Depth of Darkness Is a Challenge. And You Are Doing Quite Well,In the "Practice"...Which I Count Each as a Chapter,In My Mind...When They've Added Up,You Will See the Strength You Gave Each One With a New Perspective.Your Artwork Ethic Is Admirable :)

Artist Reply: Thank you Tim! Your comments always motivate me to do better!! It was quite a challenge, especially when the light source is at the bottom, usually it's above the head so I have to imagine the lighting to be all upside down >< Thanks again Tim. Your comments always make me feel good about my art!
