Beau Brummell, 18 x 24, oil on canvas Beau Brummell : noun 1.( George Bryan Brummell ) 1778–1840, an Englishman who set the fashion in men's clothes. 2.an extremely or excessively well-dressed man; fop; dandy. I had intended to photograph this work in progress but my camera went to Camera Heaven leaving me no way to take pics. (Actually, my camera just went to California to be repaired). This painting of a Derby (or Bowler), a walking Cane with a silver handle, a pair of kid gloves and a hat box is the first in a new series of Hats and Luggage.
