Firebird

This is an original, signed watercolor painting. there is something about tropical flowers that feels extremely exotic to me. The bird of paradise captures my attention every time! This is not a print. This painting is by the artist N. Woolweber. Ms. Woolweber is a current member of the Charlotte Art League. Her paintings grace many private collections in homes in the U.S. and Internationally. This painting is done on 140 lb professional, acid free watercolor paper and is approximately 10" x 8" in size. The artist retains all copyrights and rights to reproduction. Thank you for considering my art.

Striking and beautiful Great graduation of colours on the bottom petal - very difficult to move from purple to green with watercolours. I love the technique you used. Is the background painted black and if so was it from a tube or did you mix it and with what colours...enough questions??? Great painting, Nancy.

The black background really enhances the colours of the flower. Nice watercolour work
