Well if you do chances are good you already understand that animal totems are powerful symbols and they can tell you much about yourself. By connecting to your animal totem and focusing on its attributes you can learn and grow as a conscious being and as a soul. Yes, nature speaks to us in so many ways – including through the rhythm and vibration in the trees, rocks, water, and even animals, all of which have a vital life force and is symbiotically connected to each other and to humankind as part of the animal kingdom (not to be confused the biblical translation of animalistic having to do with ego/power/lust of man/kind or dominion over animals/others). The question is - Have you ever really stopped to listen? Try this: close your eyes, sit quietly and meditate on your animal totem. Listen. Really listen and let it whisper to you.
