One of my friend’s partners has given birth to a beautiful baby boy called Jacob. I decided to paint this as he was born with a diaphragmatic hernia but he’s a tough cookie and a fighter that’s for sure. I thought this was a pertinent image that shows his fight as he holds his dads hand. The date and time on his watch were when he was born which was on the same day as the royal baby, George, but he has yet to leave hospital.
