It is interesting that you use the word delicate in relation to the painting. It is A4 size (approx foolscap) black paper and virtually all done with the side of the pastel stick. Any detail is you see is in fact down to the texture created by the pastel stoke and not by drawing. Fairly typical of my pastel work.
