Several years ago I painted two nudes both of which worked in a gentlemen's club called the Keg & Stine. In the course of painting there was an incident where my kids decided to come down to The Pit. The Pit is what my kids called my basement studio. I noticed the model waving her hands and reaching for her clothes when I heard a little voice, " I'm going to tell Mom!". What my daughter did not know is that her mom was sitting at the table near the model and had gone upstairs for something. I included an illustration of Snort a dragon in another children's book that I wrote and illustrated that never got published.
