Never knew that there also was a isle called Mersea. It looks very beautiful to me. A spot I might explore one day. Been once to England on the Mersea side, but that was the river mentioned inside the song of Gerry and the Pacemakers. To my luck I found it on the map. It l is in a beautiful spot in the river. Mer sea? Something about mermaids there too?

Artist Reply: It is a tidal island which becomes an island when we have a spring tide; a higher tide at the full moon. We are 10 minutes from there and as my son and family live there I have to look at our river and our tide table in order to get over by road on the causeway. We spend a lot of time there!
