Beautiful portrait Derek. I love your style with all of the musicians and singers. Hope some of these are hanging—large posters to be sure—in clubs where jazz is still alive and well. Very nicely done.
Artist Reply: Mike, many thanks for your kind comments on my work. The style is one that I used when producing editions of screen prints. There were quits a lot on show at various jazz clubs and other venues, back in the 70s/80s, until I walked away from the London jazz scene and moved to Italy. I now live in Suffolk, UK.
I enjoyed looking at your photographs and particularly liked the one of The Lobby, along with those of the derelict cottages and buildings, great atmosphere and nice to see someone picking out neglected scenes.
