This great looking rat rod runs and drives like a new truck. It has air-bag suspension so it can drive any where a regular truck can go. The special suspension hooked up with pneumatics means this pickup can be made to ride as low as U can stand. It’ll even sit flat on the ground. And that’s a show stopping stance for a truck in any one’s book! ~:0) When I said this truck runs and drives like new it was no exaggeration. The frame is totally reworked and is likely twice the strength of stock. It has to be! It’s gotta team up with the air powered up and downers we call – air-bags. Generally, rat rod trucks have new engines. Sometimes they’re brand new! And often times the mill is new to the rat rod. What ever the case that means nice clean power from a great running engine. And let’s not forget the sound this pickup makes when that mill cranks to life! Fab low back pressure sound from a free flowing exhaust. And that means it runs leaner and meaner! ~Ha! We here at VivaChas! came across this rat rod chevy truck at the Luckenbach Hot Rod and Rat Rod Car Show this year. There must have been five times as many rat rods on display than the year b/4. And that’s a mob! The patina on this pickup led the pack though. The colors ran from deep blue to rust red and settled down on about a half dozen shades of old paint sticking here and there. Ha! I’m guessing she’s picked that phrase up in The States b/c it still seems like a rough cog to me – Ha! Any way – get a print u can see up on the wall. Get a least a 16 x 20 sos u can see it amidst the general clutter. That way it’ll stand out as the true work of art that it is. And U won’t believe the detail in a full size print.
