The Grand Canyon as seen from a plane at 39,000 feet. It was a fascinating flight. I was traveling to California and the sky was very clear. I was able to watch the terrain change from the plains of the Midwest to the mountains of Colorado to the deserts of the Southwest. It really gave me a feel for how beautiful, vast and amazing is this land.

When my husband does not still my seat near the window, I love the feeling of looking at the earth beneath me. Now I'm sure that the pilot told you about the altitude or, again, were sittting on the wing measuring the distance of how far you could fall....:))stan jones 15 Sep 2004
