The artist loves to do commissioned work and this is a good example, but with a more personal twist. This painting is of the artist's son, Greg, and his new wife, Lauren. The couple lives in Manhattan so the urban theme with the yellow umbrella protecting them from any rain that is coming their way is the artist's loving wish for their future.
