"Crabbing at the break of day" oil on wood panel 12 x 24, done during Plein Air Easton 2012. The warm summer mornings on the rivers of the Chesapeake Bay are punctuated by the quiet whine of outboard engines operating on slow. The voices of the crabbers working trotlines drift across the water and here I have captured the visual that is so well know there. SOLD

Beautiful - lost the sparks of the sun coming out of it in the reflections!
